Here is a sweet card celebrating the arrival of a baby boy made using the Lazy Days Dies and the Bright & Beautiful designer series paper.
Colours used to make this card are:
To recreate the palm leaves card, you will need:
Blueberry Bushel card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Tahitian Tide card – 5⅜” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5¾” by 2”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Tahitian Tide & Blueberry Bushel
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glue the Bright & Beautiful dsp to the panel of Tahitian Tide card.
The scalloped edge was die cut using the Scalloped Contour Dies from the long stip of Basic White and added to the right side of the dsp panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Blueberry Bushel card base.
A couple of strips of Seal+ on the dsp panel secured the Tahitian Tide Open Weave Metallic Rbbon in place.
From the square of Basic White card I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added a light coating of Tahitian Tide ink using a Blending Brush.
From scrap Blueberry Bushel, using the Lazy Days Dies I die cut the pretty rocking chair and glued it to the inked circle, it was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set, was stamped on scrap Blueberry Bushel card, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I then trimmed it down with Scissors and added it to the card front.
A little heart, die cut from scrap Tahitian Tide card using the Crafting With You Dies, was added to complete the card.
