I have been playing today with the unicorn image from the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set and rainbow colours. Such fun! I made this card for one of the ladies coming to class next week, she loves unicorns.
To recreate the Sparkle card you will need;
Gorgeous Grape card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Whisper White 4⅛” by 3⅛”
Goranny Apple Green 4⅛” by ¼” x 2
I placed the smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock into the Stamparatus and placed the gorgeous unicorn image onto it, face down. The door of the Stamparatus was closed picking up the stamp.
Using Real Red ink on a Sponge Dauber I inked up the unicorn’s horn and a small part of the mane and closed the door, stamping the inked portion of the image onto the cardstock.
The next portion of the unicorn was inked in the same way using Pumpkin Pie ink and a Sponge Dauber. I repeated the same step inking up a didderent part of the unicorn and working my way down the unicorn’s body. I used Daffofil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape inks.
I was delighted with the result, the unicorn looked fantastic. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink and added the strips of Granny Apple Green cardstock at the top and bottom of the stamped piece using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The swirl image was stamped randomly across the front of the Gorgeous Grape card base in Gorgeous Grape ink and the stamped unicorn panel added with Dimensionals. A scatter of Iridescent Sequins was added to the card.
The swirl was stamped onto the larger Whisper White panel in Gorgeous Grape ink and added to the inside of the card. The same image was stamped onto the envelope to complete the project. I hope she likes it.
I repeated the stamping of the unicorn as above and added it to Gorgeous Grape strips and then to a Bermuda Bay card base stamped in the same way.
