Today I am sharing a sweet card made using the gorgeous Positive Thoughts stamp set and the co-ordinating Nature’s Thoughts dies.
To recreate the Positive Thoughts card you will need:
Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5½” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Granny Apple Green – 4½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 4⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Whisper White and Basic Gray
I began by stamping the lovely Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp on the 5½” by 3⅝” Whisper White panel. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the Stamparatus as I wanted to make sure I got a good image. The Stamparatus gives the option of being able to stamp the image again. I adhered the stamped panel to the front of the Granny Apple Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The detailed fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set was stamped on the smallest Whisper White panel using 1st, 2nd & 3rd generation Granny Apple Green ink.
The flower from the same stamp set was stamped in 1st & 2nd generation Poppy Parade ink onto scrap Whisper White card and both flowers were die cut using the Nature’s Thoughts dies. They were added to the stamped panel using the liquid adhesive.
The stamped panel was then glued to the smaller Granny Apple Green layer with the liquid adhesive and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
I used the Nature’s Thoughts dies to die cut a butterfly from a scrap of Basic Gray card and added it to the card front using the liquid adhesive.
I used a trio of Basic Rhinestones to complete the card. I hope you like it.
