Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using product form the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue. I have chosen the adorable ‘Playing in the Rain’ stamp set and dies to make my card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the playing in the rain card, you will need:
Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Dandy Designs dsp – 5⅞” by 1¾”
Dandy Designs dsp – 2⅜” by 3”
Calypso Coral card – 4⅛” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card
I began by gluing the two panels of Dandy Designs dsp to the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The adorable rabbit was stamped onto the 4⅛” by 2¾” panel of Basic White card. I then used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut out the image.
Using the following Blends Alcohol Markers I coloured in the image – Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake. The coloured image was then adhered to the slightly larger panel of Calypso Coral card using liquid glue. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
I stamped the clouds onto scrap Basic White card in Balmy Blue ink and die cut them out using the Playing in the Rain Dies. They were added to the card front with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set was stamped in Calypso Coral ink onto scrap Basic White card, I trimmed it down and added it to the card front. A double bow made from White Baker’s Twine was tucked under the raised image and secured using a Mini Glue Dot. A scattering of Loose Daisy Embellishments completed the card.
Generally, I am not one for the cutesier images but this adorable rabbit really appeals to me. I hope you like it.
Please continue to hop along to see what inspiration my fellow crafters have to share with you today.
