The Delivering Cheer stamp set was still out on my desk and I chose to use it to make a birthday card featuring a pile of presents.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the pile of presents card, you will need:
Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Blushing Bride card – 4⅝” by 3¼” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Hand-penned dsp strips – 4⅓” by ⅜” x 3
Basic White card – ½” strip
Hand-penned dsp scrap
Using Multipurpose Liquid adhesive, I glued the 3 strips of Hand-penned dsp to the Mint Macaron card front.
I stamped the ladies’ legs and skirt in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller Basic White panel and added the pile of presents on top in the same ink. I added the ‘ground’ in the same black ink.
The skirt was then stamped onto a scrap of Hand-penned dsp and fussy cut out. I added it with the liquid glue onto the stamped image, love a bit of paper piecing..
The pile of presents was coloured using the following Blends Markers – Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and the retired Pink Pirouette, the arms and legs were coloured with the Ivory Blends Marker.
The stamped and coloured panel was added with liquid glue to the Blushing Bride panel and the whole piece was then added to the Mint Macaron card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set was stamped in Highland Heather ink onto the ½” strip of Basic White card and trimmed out and flagged using Scissors. The card was completed with a trio of Pastel Pearls.
Such a soft, pretty card. I hope you like it.
