I have been colouring in the gorgeous Abigail Rose designer Series Paper today and have used it to make a pretty petal pink roses card.
The colours used in this project are:
To recreate the saffron roses card, you will need:
Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic Gray card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Abigail Rose dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic Gray card – 2¼” by 2¼”
Having cut the piece of Abigail Rose dsp, I used the following Blend Pens to colour in the flowers and leaves: Petal Pink, So Saffron & Soft Sea Foam.
The coloured panel of dsp was then glued to the Basic Gray panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was added to the Petal Pink card base using the same glue.
I added a strip of Tear ‘n Tape to the card front and used it to secure a strip of Frayed Ribbon. Another strip of Tear ‘n Tape secured a nest of Gold Elegant Trim.
The sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped onto Basic Gray card in Versamark ink, covered in White Embossing Powder and heat set using a Heat Tool. I die cut the sentiment using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. The sentiment was added over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
A scattering of Fine Sparkle Gems completed the card.
Such a pretty card. I hope you like it.
