Pair of Turtles card

Here is a sweet thank you card made using the Sea Turtles stamp set and featuring a pair of turtles.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the pair of turtles’ card are:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Mossy Meadow card – 4⅝” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Basic Beige card

 

Using the Perennial Postage Dies I die cut a rectangle from the 5” by 4” panel of Basic White card.

 

The bubble image was stamped onto the die cut rectangle three times in Soft Sea Foam ink. The panel was then glued to the Soft Sea Foam card front.

 

I stamped the shoal of fish at the top and the bottom of the Soft Sea Foam card front using the Soft Sea Foam ink.

 

The large and small turtles were stamped onto scrap Basic Beige card using Mossy Meadow ink. I fussy cut both images using sharp Scissors. I used a Bone Folder to shape the turtles, added Dimensionals down the centre of each turtle and mounted them onto the card front.

 

The sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Mossy Meadow ink. I trimmed it out and added it to the card front.

 

A trio of Iridescent Foil Gems completed the card.
