Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on and I have chosen to share a cute Counting Sheep card made for my daughter and son in laws 1st wedding anniversary yesterday. This gorgeous stamp set is one of the offerings in the up-coming Sale-a-Bration brochure which goes live on the 3rd January along with the July – December Mini Catalogue.
To recreate the counting sheep card, you will need:
Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner Pacific Point card – 5⅛” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner Basic White card – 5” by 3½” – rounded upper right corner Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside Real Red card – 5⅞” by ⅓” x 2 Basic White card – 2 ½” by ⅜” Scrap Basic White
I glued the 2 strips of Real Red card stock to the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Using the Stamparatus I stamped the sweet little sheep in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. T he stamped panel was then removed and replace with the Silicon Mat. I inked the image again with the same ink and stamped it again on to the mat, carefully added the stamped panel – face down onto the inked Silicon Mat and rubbed firmly with my fingers to encourage to ink to transfer. On lifting up the panel the reverse image was seen. Such a great idea.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A cute counting sheep congratulations card made for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and using Sale-a-Bration product
Using a Blending Brush I inked the ground with Pear Pizzazz ink. I added the tufts of grass in Pear Pizzazz to ground the happy sheep.
I stamped the sheep image again, twice, onto Post It Notes – one on the front and the 2nd on the reverse of the Post It Note. These were cut out using scissors. They were then placed over the 2 stamped images and the sky was added with a Blending Brush, Balmy Blue ink and a torn piece of copy paper.
