Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing simple stamping ideas. I have made a purple snapdragon card using the pretty Inspiring Snapdragons stamp set.
To recreate the purple snapdragon card, you will need:
Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Gorgeous Grape card – 4⅜” by 2 ¾” Basic White card – 4¼” by 2⅝” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the onside Scrap Basic White and Gorgeous Grape card
Using Pool Party ink, I randomly stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Pool Party card front.

I stamped the large bloom on the 4¼” by 2⅝” panel f Basic White card using Highland Heather ink.

The 2 smaller flower spikes were then stamped on either side in Gorgeous Grape ink. I added a dragonfly in Pool Party ink.

I splattered a little Pool Party ink onto the panel using a little watered-down ink and a paintbrush. The stamped panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped onto scrap Basic White card using Gorgeous Grape ink. I trimmed it down, flagged the end and backed it with a small piece of scarp Gorgeous Grape card.

To recreate the butterfly get well card. You will need:
Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Lost Lagoon card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Highland Heather Glimmer – 3⅞” by ⅝” Basic White card – 3 ⅝” by ½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I randomly stamped the small butterfly all over the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card.

The whole panel was then embossed using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was then glued to the Lost Lagoon panel and mounted onto the Highland Heather card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set was stamped on the strip of Basic White card in Lost Lagoon ink.

I adhered the sentiment to the Highland Heather Glimmer Paper using Mini Glue Dots. The strip was then glued to the card front.

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop where our projects are inspired by a sketch challenge. I have used the Stippled Roses stamp set to make a variation on the spotlight technique to make my card.
To recreate the spotlight on stippled roses card, you will need:
Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Granny Apple Green card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 3⅝” by ½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Flirty Flamingo card
Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I randomly stamped the large image from the Stippled Roses stamp set all over the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card. I used my paper trimmer to cut the panel in two as per the sketch.

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the flowers on the smaller panel – Flirty Flamingo, light & dark for the roses, Granny Apple Green, light & dark for the leaves and Soft Sea Foam, light to colour the background and ‘ground’ the images.

The two parts of the card panel were then adhered to the Granny Apple Green layer. A length of Flirty Flamingo Twine was wrapped around the whole panel before the whole layer was mounted onto the Soft Sea Foam card front on Dimensionals.

The layers of the rainbow cake were then stamped starting with Lemon Lolly, then Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam inks. The stamped panel was then glued to the Smoky Slate layer.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped a selection of flowers in Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Pool Party.

I laid the flowers out on the stamped panel and stamped the leafy sprig around the flowers in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The flowers were then adhered in place using either Mini Glue Dots or Mini Dimensionals.
A trio of Tinsel Gems completed the card.

Using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder I embossed the pieces of Azure Afternoon and Lemon Lime Twist card. These were then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the wheelbarrow image – Bubble Bath, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon and Smoky Slate.

Using Blending Brushes I lightly added Azure Afternoon to the top of the circle and Lemon Lime Twist to the bottom. I added some texture to the bottom of the circle using a stamp from the In The Grove stamp set in 1st and 2nd generation Lemon Lime Twist ink.

Using the Perennial Postage Dies I die cut a rectangle from the piece of Full of Life designer series paper (dsp).

The large peony image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut rectangle of dsp. Using Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blends Pens were used to colour in the image.

The rectangle of dsp was then glued to the 4⅝” by 3½” piece of Basic White card and then to the panel of Daffodil Delight card.

A length of White Diagonal Striped Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then adhered to the Melon Mambo card front.

The sentiment, from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set was stamped onto scrap Basic Black card in Versamark ink. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. The sentiment was then die cut using the Perennial Postage Dies and added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3½” Basic White card – 4½” by 3” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Bright & Beautiful and Country Lace dsp – 3⅜” by ½” x 9 Scrap Basic White card
I glued the 3⅜” by ½” strips of dsp to the 5⅛” by 3½” panel of Basic White card leaving a small gap between each piece. The panel was then glued to the Petal Pink card front.

Using the Countryside Corner Dies, I die cut a label from the 4½” by 3” piece of Basic White card.

The ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set was stamped along the bottom of the die cut label with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The label was then glued to the card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped 3 mugs using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. They were coloured in using either Petal Pink. Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock Blends Pens. The coloured mugs were then added to the card front.

Using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the 5¼” by 3¾” panel of Basic White card

The embossed panel was then placed face down on my desk. I added colour to the petals of the larger flowers with Berry Burst ink using Sponge Daubers. The centres of the larger flowers were added with Blackberry Bliss ink.

The smaller flowers were inked with Daffodil Delight ink and all the leaves were coloured with Granny Apple Green ink.

I then repeatedly ran my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad all over the reverse side of the embossed panel to build up the depth of colour. The dark ink really makes the bright colours pop out.

The inked panel was glued onto the Basic White measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝” and a length of Sheer Silver Edged Ribbon wrapped around it. The whole piece was then glued to the Berry Burst card base.

Using the Everyday Details dies I di cut a label from scrap Basic White card. The sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set was stamped on the label in Berry Burst ink. I added it over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

I began by stamping the cake plate onto the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card in Gorgeous Grape ink.

The cake layers were added starting with Blueberry Bushel ink, then Granny Apple Green ink, next I used Daffodil Delight ink,

The next layer was added with Peach Pie ink, then Poppy Parade and finally Melon Mambo ink……. not strictly part of the rainbow but I couldn’t resist it.

I grounded the cake stand by stamping the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped a selection of flowers in Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Highland Heather and added the flower centres in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green ink. These were then added on and around the cake.

A scattering of Shiny Sequins finished the card.
