Here is a sweet card made for a team challenge the theme being ‘Animals or Nature’ and using the gorgeous new stamp set Life is Beautiful.
To recreate the Life is Beautiful card you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Garden Green 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
I stamped the tree image from the Life is Beautiful stamp set in Soft Suede ink onto one of the Whisper White panels, adding the ground in 2nd generation Garden Green ink.
The leaves were stamped using 1st and 2nd generation Cherry Cobbler ink and 1st and 2nd generation Cinnamon Cider ink. I love the effect this gives, very Autumnal.
Using a Cherry Cobbler Stamp n Write Marker I inked up the cute little bird house and rope. I used the Misty Moonlight marker to colour the birds, huffed on the coloured stamp to re-activate the ink and stamped it down. So pretty…..
The sentiment from the same stamp set was added in Garden Green ink to the bottom of the stamped panel and the panel was then adhered to the Garden Green layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
A piece of Linen Thread was wrapped around the panel and tied in a bow.
The whole piece was then mounted onto the Crumb Cake card base using Dimensionals.
A really simple card. I hope you like it.
