An all occasion card made using the Enjoy the Moment stamp set and Brick & Mortar embossing folder by Stampin' Up!

Brick & Mortar

Today I am sharing a pretty, muted card made using scraps I had kicking around on my desk, the Enjoy the Moment Embossing Folder and the Enjoy the Moment stamp set.

Colour combo for todays project is:

To recreate the Brick & Mortar card, you will need:

Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic Black – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Soft Sea Foam – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Gray Granite – 3¼” by 2¼”
Soft Sea Foam – 3” by 2”
Basic White – 3” by 2”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside

I embossed the large Soft Sea Foam panel a while ago, using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, thinking to use it on another project. While I was tidying my desk……….. I found it and decided to use it.

I began by wrapping a length of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the embossed panel, adhering it on the back using Sellotape.

A masculine birthday card made using the Approaching Perfection stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Perfection

Today I have been playing with the Approaching Perfection stamp set which is one of the free choices with a £45 order from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

To recreate the approaching perfection card, you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Just Jade – 5½” by 3¾“– rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝ – rounded upper right corner x 2 – one for the inside
Scrap Misty Moonlight & Basic White

I grouped all the stamps from the Approaching Perfection stamp set onto one of the Stamparatus plates, as close as I could get them. Inked them up with Night of Navy ink and stamped them onto one of the Basic White panels.

Hydrangea Haven for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop where our theme is the new January – June and Sale-A-Bration catalogues which have just gone live. So many lovely things in both catalogues and who doesn’t love the opportunity to earn free goodies. I have chosen to use the gorgeous Hydrangea Haven stamp set to work with today.

If you have joined me from the lovely Stacey Marsh, welcome and please continue to hop around the demonstrators and get lots of inspiration.

To recreate Hydrangea Hill card, you will need:

Just Jade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Flirty Flamingo – 4¾” by 2¾” – rounded lower right corner
Fluid 100 Water Color Paper – 4⅝” by 2⅝” – rounded lower right corner
Scrap Just Jade card
Very Vanilla – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded lower right corner – for the inside

I inked up the pretty hydrangea stamp with Versamark ink and used the Stamparatus to stamp the image onto Fluid 100 Water color paper. I did this twice to ensure that I had a good image on the textured card stock.

Using Flirty Flamingo ink, squeezed into the lid of the ink pad and a Water Painter Brush I painted the flower head. As the color dries and added more in selected areas to deepen some of the flowers. I then added some Cherry Cobbler ink to selected areas of the flower. I used the same technique to add Just Jade ink to the stem and leaves.

A pretty thank you card featuring the gorgeous Dandy Garden dsp and Dragonfly Punch

Dandy Dragonflies

I have been playing with the lovely Dragonfly Punch and Dandy Garden designer Series Paper (dsp). I love a punch, makes crafting so easy and so accessible.

To recreate the Dandy Dragonflies card, you will need:

Rich Razzelberry card base – 5⅜” by 3⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 4⅞” by 3⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Dandy Garden dsp – 4¾” by 3” rounded upper right corner
Dandy Garden dsp – 5⅞” by 1”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside
Scrap Basic White

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I added the narrow strip of Dandy Garden dsp.

I glued the panel of dsp to the smaller Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Using Dimensionals I added the dsp piece to the card front.

Two small dragonflies were punched using the Dragonfly Punch. They were added to the card front using the liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set onto scrap Basic White, flagged the end and added it to the card front with the liquid adhesive.

I used some of the lovely 2020-2022 In Color Dots to each of the small dragonflies to complete the card.
