I am sharing an adorable on-point card today made using the Sale-a-Bration Hippiest Hippos stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the on-point card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Rich Razzleberry card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Wonderful World dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Rich Razzleberry card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾”
The panel of Wonderful World dsp was glued to the Rich Razzleberry layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. A length of Glittered Organdy Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then adhered to the Thick Basic White card base.
The sweet little hippo was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto the panel of Basic White card which was then die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I used Watercolor Pencils to colour in the image. Basic Gray and Rich Razzleberry from Assortment 1 and Flirty Flamingo from Assortment 2. I used a Blender Pen to smooth out the colour. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the tutu for a touch of glamour.
The coloured stitched square was the glued to the Rich Razzleberry square with liquid glue and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
I coloured a trio of Pastel Pearls using the Blackberry Bliss Blends Pen and added them to the card front. A Glittered Organdy bow completed the card.
Isn’t she adorable?
