Here is a card featuring My Meadow in Spring and made for a team challenge a while ago. I love this colour combo, the pop of Poppy Parade really lifts the other more muted colours.
To recreate the My Meadow in Spring card you will need:
Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Poppy Parade – 4 ¼” by 3”
Whisper White – 4 ¼” by 3”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
I die cut the largest Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle from the small Whisper White layer. I stamped the ground in Pear Pizzazz ink and added the trees using Gray Granite ink onto the die cut panel.
The blossom was stamped in Blushing Bride ink and the leaves on the larger tree in Pear Pizzazz ink.
The base of the wheelbarrow was stamped in Gray Granite ink and the bucket part added in So Saffron ink. I added the leaves and pants in Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade inks.
I stamped some tulips in the foreground in Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade inks. The birds were stamped in Gray Granite ink.
Using a sponge I added some Balmy Blue ink to the sky. The stamped panel was then glued to the Poppy Parade layer with Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive.
I stamped the larger trees to the left and right of the Pear Pizzazz card base and added the stamped panel added over the top on Dimensionals.
Such a pretty card. I hope you like it.
