Welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Merry Christmas Stampers’. I have chosen to use the More Wishes stamp set combined with the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the Merry Christmas card, you will need:
Sweet Sorbet card base – – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 1¾”
Basic Black card – 3¾” by ⅜” x 2
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Using a T square ruler, I marked off a strip 1¾” wide near the top of the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card using a pencil. This would act as a guide when I began stamping.
I began by stamping the largest detailed snowflake from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in Petal Pink ink, above the top pencil line and below the bottom pencil line.
The medium sized snowflake was added in Sweet Sorbet ink and the smallest using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The pencil ines were then erased.
The whole panel was then glued to the large Basic Black layer and then to the Sweet Sorbet card base.
On the 3½” by 1¾” strip of Basic White card I stamped the word CHRISTMAS in Sweet Sorbet ink. The ‘merry’ was added in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I glued the thin strips of Basic Black card to the top and bottom of the sentiment panel and trimmed off the excess. The panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones finished the card.
Merry Christmas everyone x
