Let’s Set Sail for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge. The colours we have been given are:

 

To recreate the Let’s Set Sail card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2¼”
Scrap Basic White card

 

Using the Tailor-Made Tag Dies I cut a tag from the panel of Basic White card. I stamped the long ‘water’ image at the bottom of the tag in 2^nd generation Coastal Cabana ink.

 

The ‘sky’ was added with a Blending Brush and the clouds with a Sponge Dauber and a piece of torn copy paper and Coastal Cabana ink. I added birds to the top of the tag using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

 

I stamped the parts of the sailboat in Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather ink and punched them out with the Sailboat Builder Punch. This gave me pieces for 3 boats. The boat was added on Mini Dimensionals.

 

The ‘water’ image was stamped at the bottom of the Thick Basic White card front in 3^rd and 4^th generation Coastal Cabana ink. The birds were stamped again at the top of the card front in the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

 

I added some Pool Party Sheer Ribbon to the top of the tag and a bow made from White Baker’s Twine. The tag was added to the card front on Dimensionals and I added a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels to finish the card.

 

The sentiment, from the Awesome Otters stamp set was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto a scrap of Basic White paper and fussy cut out. I added it tucked under the tag.
