Here is a really sweet Christmas card using the Joyful Holly stamp set and some gorgeous gold edged Poppy Parade ribbon.
To recreate the Joyful Holly card you will need:
Balmy Blue card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅞” – Rounded upper left corner
Poppy Parade – 5⅞” by 2⅜” – Rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 1⅞” by 1⅞” – Rounded upper left corner on 2 of the panels
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Whisper White
I began by randomly stamping one of the outline holly images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink all over the 3 Whisper White squares. It doesn’t matter which of the 2 images you use, you can use both if you want to.
Using Old Olive ink and the corresponding inner image I added colour to all the holly leaves. I used Poppy Parade ink to stamp the berries and coloured in the background using Balmy Blue Blends Markers.
The stamped panels were glued to the Poppy Parade panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped some of the gold edged Poppy Parade ribbon from the All the Trimmings ribbon duo pack around the panel and used Sellotape to secure it on the back. Tis ribbon is stunning, it is so sparkly and super easy to tie.
I stamped the in-fill image of the holly leaves down the centre of the Balmy Blue card base, just to give a little peek of colour. I added the decorated panel to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set was stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto scrap White card, trimmed it out with scissors and tucked it under the raised panel and secured it with the liquid glue.
I added a bow using the same ribbon.
I hope you like it
