Ice-cream Sundae birthday card

Here is a pretty card featuring ice-cream sundae dishes and made using the Share a Milkshake Dies.

 

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the ice-cream sundae card, you will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
So Saffron card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Vellum – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic Black card

 

The sundae dishes were randomly stamped over the smaller Basic White panel in 2^nd generation Smoky Slate ink.

 

The ice-cream was added in 2^nd generation So Saffron ink and the decorated piece was added to the So Saffron layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

 

I stamped the sentiment, from the Best Family Ever stamp set, in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Black card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I trimmed it down using Scissors.

 

The vellum panel was the laid over the stamped panel and the sentiment placed in position. I then lifted the vellum and applied glue to the back of the vellum where it would be hidden by the sentiment and placed it over the stamped panel.

 

A scattering of Festive Pearls and a double twine bow completed the card,
