Today I am sharing a super cute birthday card featuring hot air balloons made with the gorgeous Hot Air Balloon stamp set and co-ordinating Dies.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the hot air balloon birthday card, you will need:
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜ by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card
Using one of the Basic Borders Dies, I cut the cloud edge from scrap Basic White card. I used the die cut edge with a Blending Brush to add ink to the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card.
The sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the panel in pebbled Path ink. The inked piece was then glued to the Pebbled Path layer and then to the Fresh Freesia card base.
The hot air balloons were stamped in Fresh Freesia and Pool Party inks onto scrap Basic White card. I also stamped 2 balloon baskets with Pebbled Path ink onto scrap Basic White card. The images were then die cut using the Hot Air Balloon Dies.
The die cut images were mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
A scattering of Tinsel Gems, from the 3 pack and Opaque Faceted Gems completed the card.
