I have had such fun playing with the cute and quirky Nuts and Bolts stap set and have combine it with the Plenty of Patterns Masks to make a greetings card.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the greetings card, you will need:
Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Pool Party card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right-hand corner
Basic Gray card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right-hand corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” x 2 – rounded upper right-hand corner – one for the inside
Scrap Basic White& Basic Gray card
Laid one of the Plenty of Patterns Masks onto one of the Basic White panels and added Pool Party ink using a Blending Brush. I think this geometric design works so well with this cute robot.
The inked panel was added to the Basic Gray layer and then to the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The robot was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card and fussy cut out using sharp Scissors. I coloured it in using the Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay Blends Markers. I added the robot to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was from the Nuts and Bolts stamp set but I only wanted the word ‘greeting’ so I covered the part of the sentiment I didn’t want with washi tape, inked it up with Versamark ink, removed the washi tape and stamped it onto scrap Basic Gray card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool before trimming it down with Scissors. It was added to the card front with liquid glue.
I added a trio of Silver Metallic Pearls to finish the card.
I love this really quirky robot, he is adorable.
