Here is a sweet floral card made using the new Greatest Journey stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the greatest floral card, you will need:
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic Black card – 2½” by ⅜”
I stamped the row of flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. I inked up the small flower at the end and stamped this again on the left hand side too fill in the space.
Using the following Blends Pens, I coloured in the leaves and flowers – So Saffron, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green & Old Olive
The decorated panel was then glued to the Basic Black layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I piece of Black Twine was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then mounted onto the Fresh Freesia card base.
The sentiment, from the Something Fancy stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Basic Black card, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using a Heat Tool. It was then added to the card front.
A trio of Classic Matte Dots and a twine bow completed the card.
