Golden Tulips for the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Blog Hop where we are sharing our customer thank you cards. I have chosen to make a gorgeous golden tulip card using the Tulip Dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the golden daffodil card, you will need:

Mango Melody card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Pansy Petals dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¾”
Basic White card – ⅜” strip
Scrap So Saffron, Mango Melody & Basic White

I glued the piece of Pansy Petals dsp to one of the Basic White panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The whole panel was glued to the Mango Melody card front using the same glue.

The pieces of the tulips were die cut using the Tulip Dies, from scrap So Saffron, Mango Melody and Basic White card. The leaves and stems were cut from scrap Soft Succulent card.

I glued the inner pieces of each tulip to the outer pieces using the liquid glue. The outer pieces were then folded over and held in place using Mini Dimensionals to give a 3 D look.

The scalloped rectangle was die cut using the Cut & Emboss Machine and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the smallest panel of Basic White card. The scalloped rectangle was glued to the card front.

The tulips, stems and leaves were added to the card front with liquid glue. I placed a Mini Dimensional in the centre of each leaf to add more dimension.

The sentiment was stamped in Soft Succulent ink onto the strip of Basic White card, trimmed down and added to the card front.

I completed the card by adding a Linen Thread bow and a trio of Artistry Blooms Sequins.

I am not a yellow lover but I do think this card is pretty. I hope you like it.

Please continue to hop on to share the projects mad by my fellow demos.
