The Framed Florets stamp set and co-ordinating Dies are out on my desk at the moment and I used them to make a pretty Framed Florets thank you card,
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the framed florets thank you card, you will need:
Evening Evergreen card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Balmy Blue card – 5½” by 3¾”
Fitting Florets dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic White card – 4¼” by 3¼”
Basic White – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White and Distressed Gold
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Fitting Florets dsp to the Balmy Blue panel. I used the same liquid glue to add the panel to the Evening Evergreen card base.
The pretty frame was die cut from the 4¼” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
I stamped the flowers and leaves in Evening Evergreen ink and coloured them in using the following Blends Alcohol Pens – Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
A sprig from the Framed Florets Dies was die cut from the Distressed Gold card and cut down to give me two pieces. I then added the flowers and leaves around the frame using a combination of liquid glue and Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Inspiring Thoughts stamp set was stamped in Evening Evergreen on the thin strip of Basic White. I had used a Post It Note to mask off the words I didn’t want to use. I trimmed the sentiment down and flagged the end and added it to the card front.
A scattering of Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls completed the card.
I hope you like it.
