I was soaking in the bath the other day, as you do when I looked up and noticed how well the new box of tissues went with the colour of the cupboard doors and I thought I must try out that colour combo ……..we have to take our inspiration when it comes. Here is the card I came up with using the First Frost stamp set.
To recreate my bathroom inspired card you will need:
Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Calypso Coral – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2– rounded upper left corner
Scrap Whisper White
I inked up the ‘sprig’ image using the Gray Granite and Merry Merlot Stamp and Write Markers and stamped on one of the Whisper White panels. I repeated this twice more. This panel was then added to the Calypso Coral panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. This piece was then added to the Merry Merlot card base on Dimensionals.
I stamped the large flower in Merry Merlot ink and the small flower in Calypso Coral onto scrap Whisper White card stock and die cut them using the Frosted Bouquet dies.
The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped using Gray Granite ink onto scrap Whisper White and die cut using the same dies.
The sentiment was added to the card front on Dimensionals and the roses placed around the sentiment using Dimensionals. I added a trio of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to complete the card.
