Festive Christmas card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects using something new. I have been dying to use the adorable Festive & Fun stamp set so used this to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the festive Christmas card, you will need:

Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛
Pecan Pie card – 4⅝” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

 

Using the medium detailed snowflake stamp from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set, I stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Poppy Parade card base using Poppy Parade ink.

 

The adorable giraffe image was then stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the small panel of Basic White card.

 

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Wild Wheat and Pecan Pie.

 

The panel was mounted onto the Pecan Pie layer. A length of Simply Elegant Trim was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Sellotape and then adhered to the Poppy Parade card front.

 

A trio of Iridescent Adhesive backed discs and an elegant trim bow completed the card.
