Today I am sharing a softly, pretty water coloured floral card made using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder and Set2 of the Watercolor Pencils.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the berry burst layered florals card, you will need:
Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Daffodil Delight card
Using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the 5¼” by 3¾” panel of Basic White card
Using the Crushed Curry watercolor pencil, I scribbled colour onto the petals of the smaller flowers. The centres of the flowers were coloured using the Flirty Flamingo watercolor pencil. I used a Blender Pen to soften and smooth out the colour.
The embossed panel was then glued to the Basic Black layer and a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the daffodil Delight card base.
The sentiment, from the Textured Florals stamp set was stamped onto scrap Daffodil Delight card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then die cut out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used Dimensionals to add it to the card front.
A ribbon bow was added with a Mini Glue Dot to finish the card.
