Today I am sharing a sweet Elf in a Stocking Christmas card made using the quirky #Elfie stamp set and the gorgeous Gold Glitz Delicata ink.
To recreate the Elf in a Stocking card you will need:
Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Call Me Clover – 4⅛” by 2⅜”
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 2⅛”
Whisper White 5⅞” by ⅜”
I began by stamping the sweet elf in a stocking image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the small Whisper White panel. The image was then coloured using the following Blends Markers – Poppy Parade combo, Call Me Clover combo, dark Crumb Cake, dark So Saffron and Ivory.
Using the Golden Glitz Delicata ink I stamped the scattering of stars around the stamped image. The stamped layer was then added to the Call Me Clover layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The stars were then stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto the centre of the Poppy Parade card base and glued the stamped layer onto the card base with the Poppy Parade stars peeking out on the right hand side.
The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped on the long Whisper White strip in Call Me Clover ink and adhered to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The elf image was then stamped on the larger Whisper White panel and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card base.
Such a sweet card, I hope you like it.
