Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects featuring dry Embossing. I have made my card using the Night of Flight stamp set.
Colours used to create this card are:
To recreate the night of flight card, you will need:
Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Copper Clay card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Copper Clay card – 1½” by ⅝”
I stamped the pretty moth in Copper Clay ink at the bottom of the smaller Basic White panel.
The same image was then stamped above in Cajun Craze and then in Azure Afternoon.
The stamped panel was then embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Using a Blending Brush, I added Cajun Craze ink lightly around the edges of the panel before gluing it to the Copper Clay layer. The panel was added to the Azure Afternoon card base on Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto the strip of Copper Clay ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I cut the ends at an angle and added it to the card front.
A trio of Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems completed the card.
Please continue around the hop to share the embossing inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
