Daisy card

Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using new products and/or some of the new In Colors from the 2023 – 2025 Annual Catalogue. I have chosen to use the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and 2 new colours, Copper Clay and Lemon Lolly to make a pretty daisy card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the daisy card, you will need:

Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Copper Clay card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Copper Clay card – 2½” by 1¼”
Scrap Basic White and Copper Clay card

I ran the panel of Lemon Lolly card through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, glued it to the Copper Clay panel.

This was then glue to the 5¼” by 3½” layer of Basic White and then to the Lemon Lolly card base.

I die cut the trio of daisies from scrap Basic White card and cut the flowers apart using sharp scissors. I die cut the base layer of the daisy from Copper Clay card and the detailed flower from scrap Basic White card. I also stamped the flower centre in Copper Clay ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut it out.

A Blending Brush was used to add Daffodil Delight ink to the centre of both white flower layers and to the flower centre. A Dimensional behind the flower centre held the two delicate flower layers together and a little liquid glue added them to the Copper Clay layer. The whole piece was added to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Copper Clay card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. The sentiment was then die cut using the same Cheerful Daisies Dies. And added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The leaves were tucked in behind the flower and a trio of 2023 – 2025 In Color Dots complete the card. I hope you like it.

Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
