Daisies card made for a Crafty Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are creating projects based on a sketch. I used the Cheerful Daisies dies to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 10” by 5” scored at 5”
Masterfully Made dsp – 3¾” by 4”
Masterfully Made dsp – 3” by 3”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5” by ⅜”
Pretty Peacock card – 2⅛” by ¾”
Scrap Basic White card

The largest panel of Masterfully Made designer series paper (dsp) was embossed using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. It was the glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

The ⅜” strip of dsp was then added to the card front.

The stitched square was die cut from the square of dsp using the Stylish Shapes Dies. This was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card. I die cut it usig a label from the Stylish Shapes Dies, I ran it through twice as I wanted it slightly shorter. I glued the sentiment label to the Pretty Peacock scrap and trimmed it down before gluig it to the card front.

From scrap Basic White card I die cut the large daisy piece from the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Using Scissors, I separated the flowers and leaves.

Using Sponge Daubers I added Fresh Freesia ink to the flower centres and petal edges. I then shaped the petals with a Bone Folder. The leaves were edged with Pretty Peacock ink. All these pieces were then added to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
