Here is an adorable Christmas card made using the Coming Home stamp set and some non traditional colours.
To recreate the Coming Home card you will need:
Purple Posy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞”
Smoky Slate – 5½” by 3¾”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2
Scrap Whisper White
I stamped one of the sweet houses and a large and small pine tree from the Coming Home stamp set in Smoky Slate ink onto scrap Whisper White card and used the Blends Markers to colour them in.
I die cut the coloured house and trees using the Homecoming Dies and my Cut & Emboss Machine. I also die cut 4 more of the same house from scrap Whisper White card.
Using a sponge I added Pool Party ink to one of the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panels of Whisper White and stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set at the bottom of the panel In Smoky Slate ink.
The white houses were glued across the inked panel and I trimmed off the excess with scissors. I stamped some snowflakes in Pool Party ink before adding the coloured house and the trees to the panel on Dimensionals.
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I glued the decorated panel to the Smoky Slate layer, then to the Purple Posy card front and added a scattering of Adhesive Backed Sequins to create the card.
I hope you like it.
