Autumnal Colorful Seasons for an anniversary card

An Autumnal Colorful Seasons anniversary card made using the Colorful Seasons stamp set. This gorgeous stamp set was out on my desk again today and I used it to make a lovely Anniversary card for my husband.

I wanted to use the solid leaf images from the stamp set and paired them up with gorgeous Autumnal colours. I took the larger ‘maple leaf’ image and stamped it in Crushed Curry ink onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock 5⅜” by 3⅝”, cleaned the stamp on my fabulous Stampin’ Scrub – couldn’t live without this, and stamped it again in 2nd generation Cherry Cobbler ink, Pear Pizzazz ink, 2nd generation Cajun Craze ink and 2nd generation Rich Razzleberry ink. I added the smaller maple leaf image using the same ink colours in either 1st or 2nd generation ink. I added this panel to a layer of Early Espresso cardstock 5 ½” by 3 ¾” using Tombow Liquid Adhesive. This whole piece was then added to an Old Olive card base, again using Tombow Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the Happy Anniversary from the Number of Years stamp set in Old Olive ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2¾” by 2¾” before running it through the Big Shot with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I stamped around the edges of the die cut circle using the same images. I die cut an Early Espresso scalloped circle from a 3” x 3” piece of cardstock and the Layering Circle dies and added it to the back with Tombow Liquid Adhesive.

I added some Fast Fuse to the back of the Early Espresso circle and adhered some messy Copper Metallic Thread. This piece was then added to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I like the card and so did my husband……..hooray.
