Here is a sweet Christmas card made using the Trucking Along Bundle which is one of the online exclusive items available in my online shop.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the trucking along card, you will need:
Real Red card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Real Red card – 5½” by 3¾”
Garden Green card – 4¼” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 3½” by 2”
Basic White card – 2⅝” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Using one of the folders from the set of Basics 3D Embossing Folders, I embossed the Real Red panel. I wrapped a length of Garden Green Ribbon around the panel.
The embossed panel was then glued it to the 5⅝” by 3⅞” piece of Basic White card and then to the Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
From the Garden Green panel, I die cut a label using the Countryside Corners Dies. I slipped it under the ribbon on the card front and adhered it in place using the same liquid glue.
A smaller label was die cut using the same set of dies from the 3½” by 2” piece of Basic White card.
The ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set was stamped onto the white label in Pebbled Path ink. I added the outline truck using the same ink. The infill image of the truck was stamped in Real Red ink and I coloured in the tyres with a Basic Black Blends Pen.
The outline image of the Christmas tree was stamped in the back of the truck in Pebbled Path ink and the tree was infilled with Garden Green ink. The label was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Ringed With Nature stamp set was stamped in Real Red ink onto the strip of Basic White card, trimmed down and tucked under the label.
A trio of Tinsel Gems completed the card.
