Changing Leaves card

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have been playing with the Changing Leaves stamp set which is one of the new online exclusives this week and am showing one of the cards I made.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the changing leaves card, you will need:

Wild Wheat card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Misty Moonlight card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Scrap Basic White and Misty Moonlight card

I inked the large leafy image with Wild Wheat ink and stamped it onto the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card. I stamped it again with the same ink.

The longer leafy sprig was stamped, twice, with Misty Moonlight ink. The maple leaf was then stamped using Pool Party ink to fill in the gaps.

The stamped panel was then glued to the Misty Moonlight layer and then to one of the larger. A piece of Diagonal Striped White Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and the whole piece was added to the Wild Wheat card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and die cut using the Unbounded Love Dies. I also die cut 2 other labels and cut them in half, one longwise and the other across the middle and glued them to the back of the stamped label. The sentiment was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A ribbon bow and a trio of 2023 -2025 In Colour Dots finished the card.
