A pretty Parisian Lovely floral card made using the Lovely Yu stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Parisian Lovely You

This Parisian lovely you card began with a desire to use the embossed Petal Pink panel left over from another project. I paired it with the Lovely You stamp set for this soft, pretty feminine card.

To recreate the Parisian Lovely You card you will need:

Thick Whisper White – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Petal Pink – 8¼” by 5⅞” – embossed and cut diagonally to give 2 pieces
Brass Foil – 5” by ¼”
Whisper White – 4” by ¾”
Scrap Whisper White

Using a pencil I drew a line along the edge of the embossed piece onto the Thick Whisper White card base.

I stamped the images from the Lovely You stamp set, starting with the largest and over lapping the pencil line. I used Mint Macaron, Pool Party, Petal Pink, So Saffron & Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the images.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I added the Brass Foil strip to the top of the embossed Petal Pink layer and added it to the card front using the same glue.

The sentiment was stamped in Mint Macaron ink onto the ¾” strip of Whisper White card and the cut down using scissors. It was added to the card front with the same liquid glue.

On scrap Whisper White card I stamped 2 flowers and a sprig of leaves. These were cut out using sharp scissor and added to the card front using Mini Dimensinals. The leaf was tucked under the sentiment strip. I decorated the card with a scattering of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

Split Image Blossom card

Today I am sharing a couple of split image blossom cards made using the fabulous Blossoms in Bloom stamp set and Many Layered Blossom dies. Over the past couple of moths I have seen a number of demonstrators making split image cards and thought I would try it myself.

To recreate the Split Image Blossom card you will need:

Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Calypso Coral – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner – one for the inside
Calypso Coral – 5½” by 5½” – to die cut for both cards

2nd card

Calypso Coral – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Merry Merlot – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner – one for the inside

I laid 2 of the Whisper White panels side by side, inked up the large floral image from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set with Merry Merlot ink and stamped the image across the join of both panels.

A pretty feminine card featuring Purple Blossoms - made using Stampin' Up! product

Purple Blossom Thank You card

We have so many gorgeous floral stamp sets at the moment and one of my favourites is the Forever Blossoms stamp set which I have used to make a purple blossom card.

To recreate the Purple Blossom card you will need:

Purple Posy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Old Olive – 5½” by 3¾”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2
Old Olive – 3⅜” by 2⅛”
Whisper White – 3¼” by 2”
Scrap Whisper White

I began by placing the smallest panel of Whisper White onto one of the larger Whisper White panels using a little temporary adhesive to hold it in place.

I inked up the large spray of blossom using the Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped it onto the centre of the smaller panel making sure that it overlapped and stamped on the larger panel.

I removed the smaller panel and coloured in the flowers, branch and leaves using the following Blends Markers – Purple Posy Combo, dark Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green.  I did not colour the stamped areas on the larger panel.

The larger Whisper White panel was glued to the larger Granny Apple Green panel using the same glue. The whole panel was then added to the Purple Posy card base. The small panel was then adhered onto the smaller Granny Apple Green layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
