Monochromatic Daisies for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is Black & White. I love a bit of monochrome, don’t you? have chosen to make a monochromatic daisies card using the gorgeous Daisy Garden stamp.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the monochromatic daisies card, you will need:

Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”
Basic White card – 3” by ½”

I mounted the large Daisy Garden stamp onto the plate of my Stamparatus. I find it easier to get a good image if I have the opportunity to re-stamp the image.

I inked the stamp up with Versamark ink, stamped it onto the smaller panel of Basic Black and covered it with White Embossing Powder. The powder was then heat set using my Heat Tool.

The panel was then cut into three strips, roughly equal in width. The strips were added to the Basic Black panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a piece of White Baker’s Twine twice around the panel and tied it in a bow. The panel was then added to the basic Black card base using Black Dimensionals.
