Here is a sweet card featuring flowers and bees, so pretty. I made it using the lovely Honey Bee stamp set.
To recreate the Flowers and Bees card you will need:
Rococo Rose card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic Black – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner x 2
Whisper White 3” by 3”
I die cut a Stitched Circle using the Stitched Shapes dies. The circle was placed onto one of Whisper White panels, slightly overlapping the right side and drew around it lightly with a pencil.
I inked up the floral sprig using the Old Olive and Lovely Lipstick Markers and stamped it multiple times around the circle.
A scalloped circle was die cut from the centre of the Basic Black layer using the Layering Circle dies and the stamped panel was adhered to the Basic Black layer before being glued to the Rococo Rose card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink onto the stitched Circle die and added a sprig to the right side and a bee on the left. The stamped circle was glued to the scalloped black circle and a sliver trimmed off the right side. The circle was added to the card front with Dimensionals.
I added 2 more bees to the card front and coloured in the stripes with the S Saffron Marker and the wings with the Clear Wink of Stella.
A bee was stamped on the 2nd panel of Whisper White and added to the inside of the card. A trio of 2019 – 2021 In Color Faceted Dots added to the card front.
