A childs birthday card made using the Puffin Party Stamp set by Stampin' Up! for the Stamp 'n Hop Blog Hop

Sweet Puffin for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Babies and Kids’. I have used the sweet Puffin Party stamp set and the new Design A Daydream to make a puffin birthday card.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the puffin birthday card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Design a Daydream dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp panel to the larger Basic White layer. The panel was added to the Pool Party card front.

Trio of Kites card

I have been playing again with the Kite Delight stamp set which is sadly retiring at the end of April and have made a pretty card featuring a trio of kites.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the trio of kites’ card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner

Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the square of Basic White card and die cut a Layering Circle from the inked area.

Campervans and VW Beetles in pastel colours for a sweet Driving By card using Stampin' Up! product

Driving By

I have been playing with some of the new stamp sets available in the January – June Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and have made a sweet driving by thank you thank using the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set.

Colours used in this project

To recreate the driving by thank you card, you will need:

Bermuda Bay card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Fresh Freesia card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Bermuda Bay card

I stamped the campervan in Basic Gray ink across the smaller panel of Basic White card. The cars were added, randomly across the panel in the same ink.

Using the following Blends Alcohol Marker Pens I coloured in the images – Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, So Saffron, Balmy Blue & Petal Pink.

The stamped and coloured panel was added to the Bermuda Bay layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. A length of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the reverse with Sellotape. The panel was then mounted on the Bermuda Bay card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay on a scrap strip of Basic White card and punched either end using the Lovely Labels Punch. I used the same punch to punch the ends of a slightly larger strip of Bermuda Bay card. The 2 pieces were then adhered together with the same liquid glue. The sentiment was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
