To recreate the Christmas Tree card, you will need:

Summer Splash card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Misty Moonlight card – 3⅞” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I inked the large Sketched Plaid stamp set with Misty Moonlight ink and stamped it onto the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card. This panel was then glued to the Summer Splash layer.

A pretty pastel card featuring the Pretty Medallion stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Pretty Medallion card

I have been playing with the beautiful Pretty Medallion stamp today and have used some soft pastel shades to colour in the image.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the pretty medallion card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Fresh Freesia card – 4⅞” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 12.3cms by 9cms
Basic White card – 4” by 1¾”
Fresh Freesia card – 4” by ¼”
Basic White – 5⅞” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I mounted the Pretty Medallion stamp onto a Stamparatus Plate, inked it up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it onto the 12.3cms by 9cms panel of Basic White card. I actually re-inked and stamped 3 times to get a nice rich black. I repeated this with the 5⅞” by ¾” strip of Basic White.

The image was coloured with the following Blends Pens – Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink and So Saffron. I used the same colours to colour the stamped strip.

Using a trimmer, I cut the coloured panel from top to bottom into 3 panels each 3cms wide. These were then glued to the Fresh Freesia layer and added this to the Pool Party card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the small strip of Basic White card. I cut it down using scissors and added the thin strip of Fresh Freesia card along the bottom. This was then tucked under the decorated panel.
