Autumnal Tree card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

May be a graphic of text that says "Stamping With Friends BLOG HOP INSPIRATION FROM AROUND E WORLD ိ"

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some of our online exclusive offerings. I have made my Autumnal thank you card using the Frosted Forest Stamp set and co-ordinating Dies to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the autumnal tree card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Meandering Meadows dsp – 5⅞” by 1½”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅞” by ⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Scrap Basic White card

I glued the piece of Meandering Meadows dsp to the front of the Thick Basic White card base. The strip of Pecan Pie card was added, next to the dep strip.

Using the Countryside Corners Dies I a cut a label from the 4¾” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card.

The large tree image was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White card.

I placed Mask 1 over the stamped tree and added Pecan Pie ink to the trunk and branches of the tree. Mask 2 placed next and I lightly added Old Olive ink, with a Blending Brush, to parts of the tree canopy.  Lastly, using Blending Brushes, I added Cajun Craze used to some of the remaining uncoloured areas and Cherry Cobbler to the remainder.

The final Mask, number 3 was then placed in position. I squeezed some of the Gold Metallic Enamel Effects onto the Mask and used a Spatula to scrap the gold over the mask and into the negative space. The mask was then removed and the panel allowed to dry. The mask and spatula were then washed with warm water to remove the Enamel Effects. When it was dry I die cut the tree using the Frosted Forest Dies.

The ‘ground’ image from the Garden Meadow stamp set was stamped onto the die cut label in Old Olive ink. The die cut tree was then glued in position and the label was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink and a gold bird added to complete the card.

I added each leaf to the smaller panel of Basic White card, each overlapping the one before. I trimmed off the overhang at each side.

Falling Autumn Leaves for the Crafty Collaborations Autumn Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Autumn themed Blog Hop. I have created a falling Autumn leaves card using the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the falling Autumn leaves card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Garden Green card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 2¼” by 1¾”

I used Post It Notes to mask off a strip from top to bottom of one of the larger Basic White panels. Using a Blending Brush I added Pool Party ink to the masked off strip.

I stamped the 3 leaves from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set randomly down the length of the inked strip. I used Bumblebee ink, Cinnamon Cider ink, Garden Green ink, Soft Suede ink, Cinnamon Cider ink and Blackberry Bliss ink.

The smaller speckled image was then stamped in Soft Suede ink.

Using a Blending Brush I added Crumb Cake ink lightly around the edge of the panel before adding the inked layer to the piece of Garden Green with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of the gorgeous Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the panel and secured it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Crumb Cake card base using the same liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Season’s Blessings stamp set was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the small piece of Basic White card. It was die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies and my Mini Stamp & Emboss Machine. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
