Bare Tree Sympathy card

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing ‘Simple Stamping’ projects. This means that we are only using stamps, ink and paper only. I have used the bare tree image from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set to make a sympathy card.

 

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the bare tree card, you will need:

Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

 

The watercolor rectangle from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set was stamped in 2^nd generation Pool Party ink.

 

The bare tree was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and the ‘ground’ was added in 2^nd generation Gray Granite ink.

 

I stamped the sentiment, from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink.

 

The stars from the Greatest Journey stamp set were added in Gray Granite ink.

 

To complete the card, I added a trio of Festive Pearls.

 

Very simple but quite striking.
