Azure Magnolia – Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing colouring techniques. I have created an anniversary card using the Magnolia Mood stamp set and Blends Alcohol Pens.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the azure magnolia card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Pebbled Path card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – for the inside – rounded upper right corner

The sentiment, from the Layers of Beauty stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner of the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card using Azure Afternoon ink.

The large floral image from the Magnolia Mood stamp set was then stamped with pebbled Path ink.

I coloured the image using the following Blends Pens – Azure Afternoon, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wheat. The coloured panel was then glued to the Pebbled Path panel.

A length of White Diagonal Striped Ribbon was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Sellotape and the whole piece added to the Azure Afternoon card front.
