Hello card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop featuring the Friendly Hello Sale-a-Bration stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hello from the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing sneak peeks of Sale-a-Bration items which will be available from the 4th January 2022 with a qualifying order. I am using the gorgeous Friendly Hello stamp set paired with the Simply Marbleous dsp.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the hello card, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Simply Marbleous dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Basic White card – 2¼” by ¾”

I glued the Simply Marbleous dsp to the largest panel of Basic White card using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then added to the Flirty Flamingo card base using the same glue.

Stampin' Up! products used to make a pretty poinsettia Christmas tree bauble on a rustic wood slice.

Tree Baubles for the December 2021 Class

Today I am sharing two pretty baubles designed for my December classes and made using the Poinsettia and Cabin dies.

Coloured we used are:

Poinsettia Bauble

Wood Slice –  I got mine here – https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B082HR4RV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Real Red card – 8¼” by 3¼
Garden Green card – 4½” by 2”
Scrap Gold Foil card
Jute Twine

We die cut and embossed the 3 layers of poinsettia petals from the Real Red card using the Poinsettia dies and Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. They were then spayed, using a Spritzer, with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and Alcohol. They were then set aside to dry. The Frost White Shimmer Paint is sadly retired but you could use Clear Wink of Stella instead.

When they were dry, we curled the petals using a Bone Folder. The layers were then adhered together, offset, with Mini Glue Dots. We added the centre, die cut from Gold Foil card using the same Poinsettia Dies. It was added with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The holly leaves. 1 large and 2 small, were cut and embossed from the piece of Garden Green card. They were tucked under the poinsettia and glued down with the liquid glue.

We used some rustic jute twine from my stash to make a loop and bow to hang the bauble.

Cabin Bauble

Basic White circle – die cut with Framelets Circle Dies – roughly 3⅝” – 3¾” in diameter
Soft Suede – die cut with Framelets Circle Dies – roughly 3⅝” – 3¾” in diameter
Garden Green card – 4½” by 2”

Using a heavy-duty hole punch we punched a hole at the top of the wood circle.

I mounted the Birch background stamp on a Stamparatus plate, I find it easier to handle than the largest block, ink it up with Misty Moonlight ink and stamped it onto the bauble. It was then set aside to dry.

Placing the Basic White circle on top of the Soft Suede circle I ran them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the detailed cabin die. We lifted the Basic White layer off the Soft Suede layer, leaving all the bits stuck on the Soft Suede piece. Using a Take Your Pick Tool we carefully lifted off the white scrap leaving the Soft Suede piece intact. The 2 pieces were then stuck together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. We added the cabin to the bauble on Dimensionals.

The trees were then die cut from the Garden Green layer using trees from the Cain Dies and tucked around the cabin. Using either liquid glue or Dimensionals. We added a loop of twine to the top to hang the bauble.

These baubles were such fun to make, I hope you like them.

Jolly Snowflakes for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I have chosen to share some Jolly Snowflakes cards using a modified version of a one sheet wonder,

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the jolly snowflakes cards, you will need:

Card Bases – 2 Pool Party and 2 Highland Heather – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” with one rounded corner
2 Coastal Cabana and 2 Gorgeous Grape panels – 5⅜” by 3⅝” with one rounded corner
4 panels of Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” with one rounded corner
4 panels of Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

Using the tall tree, I stamped in Shaded Spruce onto the bottom of the stamped strip in 1st and 2nd generation ink. This step was repeated to fill up the bottom of the panel.

Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I cut the scalloped border using the Shaded Spruce card and added it behind the stamped layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a piece of Silver Mesh Ribbon around the panel and tied it in a bow, securing the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment from the For Unto Us stamp set (so happy this set has returned) was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Basic Gray card, covered in White Embossing Powder and heat set using a Heat Tool. I used a Tailor-Made Tag Die to cut out the sentiment, I actually shorted the die cut as it was too long, and added it under the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

I added a trio of Holiday Rhinestones to complete the card.

I love it, so pretty.

I coloured around each bauble using the light Pool Party Blends Marker and used the colour lifter to fade the colour out. This technique helps to ‘ground’ the baubles.

The stamped panel was then added to the Fresh Freesia layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped a length of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon around the panel, adhering it on the back with Sellotape and mounted the whole piece on the Night of Navy card front using the same liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut using the Painted Labels Dies. I die cut the same label from scrap Night of Navy card, cut it across the middle and added it to the top and bottom or the sentiment before adding it to the card front on Dimensionals.

Snowflake Bauble for a Customer Make & Take

Today I am sharing a pretty snowflake bauble Christmas card designed as a Make & Take for customers who ordered from me during the month of November, Each customer received a pack with all the cardstock and pieces they needed to make the card along with a step by step tutorial. All they needed to add was a sentiment from their own stash.

Hand-Penned dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

My sentiment came from the Peaceful Deer stamp set and was stamped on the strip of Basic White card in Basic Gray card. I then trimmed the sentiment out with scissors and added it to the card front.
