The Wonderful World stamp set by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty pink iris card

Wonderful Iris card

I can’t get enough of the Wonderful World Sale-a-Bration stamp set and have made a pretty birthday card using the Iris image.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the wonderful Iris card, you will need:

Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Flirty Flamingo card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Flirty Flamingo card – 3” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2½” by 2¼”
Wonderful World dsp – 3 ¾” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I ran the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Hive Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was glued to the Flirty Flamingo layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I added it to the Pear Pizzazz card front using the same glue.

We wrapped a piece of Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon around the panel to disguise the join and secured it with Sellotape n the back.

The sentiment was added in Orchid Oasis ink and the panel was mounted on the card front on Dimensionals. A trio of coloured Basic Rhinestones completed the card.

Throwback card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Throwback’ – to recreate an old project of our own or someone else’s. I have chosen to recreate a card I made for this same blog hop back in charge and turn it into a Christmas card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the throwback card, you will need:

Real Red card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Cherry Cobbler card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Boughs of Holly dsp – ⅜” strips x 2
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Boughs of Holly dsp

I embossed the smaller panel of Basic White card using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and glued it to the Cherry Cobbler panel with Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive. The same glue was used to add the panel to the Real Red card front.
