To recreate the ruby heart anniversary card, you will need:
Cherry Cobbler card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Silver Foil – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White, Cherry Cobbler and Silver Foil
I began by making the heart. Using Washi Tape from my stash I taped together the outline and detailed heart dies, from the Friends For Life Dies. I then die cut 3 Cherry Cobbler hearts and 1 Silver Foil heart. I also die cut a solid heat using just the outline heart die.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The Friends For Life Dies used to make a gorgeous stained glass Ruby Heart card for my ruby anniversary
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I adhered the 3 detailed hearts to the solid heart. I carefully filled in each of the negative spaces in the heart with Fine Tip Glue and set it aside to dry and set.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The Friends For Life Dies used to make a gorgeous stained glass Ruby Heart card for my ruby anniversary
Whilst the heart was drying – it took about an hour – I embossed the 5¼” by 3½” Basic White panel using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. I squirted some of the Silver Enamel Effects onto a Silicon Craft Mat and swiped a B block through it before rubbing it over the raised embossing. It just gives a little extra shimmer to the card. The whole piece was then glued to the Silver Foil layer.

A length of Sheer Silver Edged Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Cherry Cobbler card front.
www.crafty-rootes.com – The Friends For Life Dies used to make a gorgeous stained glass Ruby Heart card for my ruby anniversary
When the heart was dry, I added the detailed Silver Foil heat on top and glued the whole heart to the front of the card.
The sentiment, from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto scrap Basic White card. I fussy cut the sentiment out and added it straddling the heart with a small piece of Foam Adhesive Strip to either end and a Mini Glue Dot in the middle.

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we are sharing Autumnal themed projects. I have made my striped Autumnal leaf card using the Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies with the gorgeous Meandering Meadow dsp.
To recreate the striped Autumnal leaf card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Meandering Meadow dsp – strips ¼” or ⅜” wide and long enough to cover the leaf shape, great time to use up scraps.

www.crafty-rootes.com – The Autumn Leaves stamp set and Dies used with the Meandering Meadows dsp to make a striped Autumnal Leaf card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
I placed the negative leaf shaped panel down onto the Thick Basic White card front and lightly drew around the leaf shape with a pencil. This will give me a guide when placing the dsp strips.

I placed the dsp strips down over the pencil drawn leaf shape, moving them around until I got the colour palette I liked. I then glued them into position butted up tightly together. I made sure to cut off the excess as I didn’t want the strips poking out when the top panel was in position.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop. Our theme this month is ‘Ghosts and Goblins’ which is always a bit of a challenge for me as Halloween is not a big deal in the UK so I don’t have any Halloween stamp set.
