Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Something New’. So much to choose from……. Eventually I decided to make a pretty card using the gorgeous Lifetime of Love Dies and one of my favourite techniques, paper piecing.
To recreate the lifetime of love card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Gorgeous Grape card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Fight & Airy dsp – 5½” by 3¾” Basic White card – 5” by 3⅜”” Silver Foil Speciality Paper – 5” by 3½” Scrap Fresh Freesia & Soft Sea Foam Adhesive sheet
From the panel of Silver Foil Speciality Paper – with a piece of Adhsive Sheet stuck to the back and die cut the arched floral image using the Lifetime of Love Dies, I choose the darkest piece of foil with the slightly purple tone. I popped out the pieces and adhered the outline piece to the panel of Basic White card.

From scrap Fresh Freesia and scrap Soft Sea Foam card, each with adhesive sheet applied to the back, I die the floral part of the die again.

Using my Take Your Pick Tool I picked up each piece from the flowers and leaves, removed the backing from the adhesive sheet and placed the piece into the negative space. I absolutely loved how it came out.

Today I am sharing the table gifts made for my January classes to hold a little chocolate treat in the form of a Caramel Freddo. This treat pouch was inspired by a Youtube video by Sandra Ronald.
Card stock 5” by 4 ¾” – I chose Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape Scrap Basic White card Ribbon
Using a Scoring Tool I scored the pieces of cardstock. On the long side at 1¾”, 2¼”, 4 and 4½” and on the short side at ½”.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Treat pouches made to hold a Freddo Caramel bar for my January 2024 Class treats
The small tab at the bottom of the ½” panel was removed using sharp scissors and a wedge removed from the bottom of the ½” panel. I cut up the sides of both of the small tabs then folded and burnished all of the scorelines.

www.crafty-rootes.com – Treat pouches made to hold a Freddo Caramel bar for my January 2024 Class treats
The ½” panel was then folded over and the 1 ¼” Circle Punch was inserted about ¼” from the bottom scoreline and a circle punched out. I used the first circle as a template to punch the circle in the same place on each pouch.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Treat pouches made to hold a Freddo Caramel bar for my January 2024 Class treats
Tear & Tape adhesive was applied to the ½” panel and the pouch was folded over and sealed. The 2 side tabs were then folded in and the bottom closed using Tear & Tape.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Treat pouches made to hold a Freddo Caramel bar for my January 2024 Class treats
From scrap Basic White card I punched a 1¼” Circle then over the resulting hole I punched the 1½” circle. This produced a circlular frame which I glued around the hole using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.com – Treat pouches made to hold a Freddo Caramel bar for my January 2024 Class treats
I inserted the chocolate Freddo and pinched the top on both side to nip the pouch together and punched a ¼” hole through the back and the front of the pouch.
I fed some ribbon through the hole to close the pouch.
Aren’t they sweet?
