A floral bloom thank you card featuring the best dressed dsp by Stampin' Up!

Floral Blooms

Today I am sharing a sweet floral blooms card made using the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and the Best Dressed dsp. This stamp set is one of the free choices available with a £45 order before the 31st March 2020. This card was inspired by a card I saw on YouTube made by a German demonstrator called Nicole Badach.

To recreate the Floral Blooms card you will need:

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Lovely Lipstick – 3” by 3”
Best Dressed designer series paper (dsp) – 3” by 3”
Granny Apple Green – 4” by ⅝”
Scrap Whisper White

I die cut a square from the Best Dressed dsp using the largest of the stitched Squares from the Stitched Shapes dies.

Using the Layering Squares dies I die cut a slightly larger scalloped square from the panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhered it to the back of the dsp square using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then added to the Thick Whisper White card base on Dimensionals.

Using the Tailored Tag Punch I flagged both ends of the Granny Apple Green strip and glued it to the square panel, off to the right.

The sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink onto scrap Whisper White card stock and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. The punched sentiment was added to the card front with glue and a dimensional on the overhanging right side.

I hope you like it and thanks again to Nicole for the inspiration.

Here is the card I came up with using the First Frost stamp set.

To recreate my bathroom inspired card you will need:

Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Calypso Coral – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner

Grace’s Garden for a Make & Take

Here is the card I made as one of our team training make & take projects. The brief was to make a card using a bundle or other products which would meet the £45 spend to qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration item. I chose to use the gorgeous Grace’s Garden stamp set and Garden Gateway dies.

To recreate the Grace’s Garden make & take card you will need:

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Blueberry Bushel 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner x 2
Scrap Whisper White

We began by die cutting the gate from the centre of the Blueberry  Bushel panel, making sure to stay away from the edges of the panel.

Next we stamped the ‘hollyhock’ image on either side of a Whisper White panel in Pear Pizzazz ink. The medium sized group of flowers was added in the same ink.

Using an oval make up brush we applied Seaside Spray ink to the top of the stamped panel. Blending it in around the plants. Using the same technique we added Smoky Slate into to the bottom of the panel.

The stamped panel was then glued to the Blueberry Bushel layer with Multipurpose Liquid adhesive and added to the Seaside Spray card base with the same glue.

The gate was cut up the middle with scissors then adhered to the card front in Dimensionals.

The spray of roses and the small group of flowers were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and coloured in using the following Blends Markers – light Lovely Lipstick, dark Daffodil Delight & light Old Olive before being die cut and added to the card front.

The cute little cat was stamped in Basic Gray ink and coloured using the Smoky Slate combo Blends Markers. The cat was added on a dimensional.

A scattering of Woven Threads Sequins was added to complete the card.

I hope you like it.
