Today I am sharing a card made using the colours chosen by the Alzheimer’s Society for their forget me not appeal. My lovely Mum lives with Alzheimer’s Disease so this charity is close to my heart.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the Alzheimer’s colours card, you will need:
Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Daffodil Delight card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – Rounded upper right corner
Azure Afternoon card – 5½” by 2½”
Scrap Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight card
Using a Blending Brush, I added Lemon Lolly ink to the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card.
I die cut the leafy sprig from the 5½” by 2½” piece of Azure Afternoon card using the Flowers of Beauty Dies. I adhered the die cut piece to the inked panel.
From scrap Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight card I die cut a selection of large and small flowers. I shaped then using the end of a pencil and added the flowers to the leafy sprig using Mini Glue Dots.
The sentiment, from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set was stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.
The decorated panel was glued to the Daffodil Delight layer and then mounted onto the Azure Afternoon card front on Dimensionals.
A Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine bow was added to the card front and an Iridescent Pearl added to each flower centre.
Such a pretty card.

Love the colours. Great card.
Sorry to hear about your mum. 🌹
My brother in law has it as well.
I am sorry to hear about your brother in law Val. This terrible disease affects, not only the person living with it, but the wider circle of family and friends x
I know sadly it’s called living bereavement, so a long process. I have added you and your family to my Prayer list.
Thank you Val and you and your family will also be in mine x
