Here is a gorgeous sunny daffodil daydream birthday card made using the pretty Daffodil Daydream stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the Sunny Daffodil daydream card, you will need:
Basic Gray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
So Saffron card – 4⅛” by ⅜”
I stamped all around the Basic Gray card front in Basic Gray ink using the large daffodil image.
Using the same image, I stamped in the Basic Gray ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card and cut it out using the Scalloped Contour dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
The image was coloured using the following Blends Markers – So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Balmy Blue and the colour lifter to fade the edges of the blue outline.
I stamped the sentiment from the Awesome Otters in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the right-hand end of the So Saffron strip then cut the strip in half.
The blank end was adhered to the card front with liquid glue and the stamped panel added on top with Dimensionals. The sentiment was then added with liquid glue on the left and a Dimensional on the left.
I added a double bow made from the Gray Granite Twine from the Essential Twine pack using a Mini Glue Dot. A trio of Artistry Blooms Sequins completed the card.
I hope you like it.
