The Botanical Layers stamp set is still on my desk and I have used it, with a favourite colour combo, to make a pretty botanicals card.
The colours in this project are;
To recreate the pretty botanicals card, you will need:
Real Red card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Pool Party card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5 ¼” by 3 ½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper left corner
Using Pool Party ink I stamped the larger leafy image along the bottom of the smaller panel of Basic White card in Pool Party ink.
The more geometric plant was stamped in Real Red ink, overlapping the Pool Party leaves.
A length of Real Red Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. This ribbon comes in a combo pack with a Garden Green ribbon.
The sentiment, from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped in Pool Party ink above the ribbon.
The whole piece was then added to the Pool Party layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The panel was mounted onto the Real Red card base on Dimensionals. A scattering of Glossy Dots completed the card. Love these colours together.
