The card I am sharing today features the gorgeous A Good Man stamp set. This set makes stunning masculine cards which can be adapted for any occasion.
To recreate the A Good Man card you will need;
Thick Whisper White card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Bird Ballard dsp 4⅛” by 3”
Old olive 2⅞” by 2⅞”
Whisper White 2¾” by 2¾”
I chose the sweet image of the child riding on the mans’ shoulders was stamped on the Whisper White square using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This image reminds me so much of when my children were small, they loved to be carried on their fathers shoulders like this.
The stamped image was then coloured using my fabulous Blends markers in the following colours – Old Olive combo, Pool Party combo, Calypso Coral combo, Petal Pink combo, Crumb Cake light and Ivory.
The coloured square was glued, using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the Old Olive square. I love the bright summery colours of this dsp.
The panel of Bird Ballard dsp was glued to the front of the Thick Whisper White card base leaving a small slip of White visible on the left hand side. The image was then added over top on Dimensionals.
The image of the man an child was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the inside of the card and on the envelope.
I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink on the lower right hand corner of the card front and called the card done. I hope you like it.
